How do I book my sessions?


Subject to individual settings we offer two ways of booking:

Contract Booking

Annual Contracts are ideal if you require the same days or sessions every week and want to secure your child’s place. Invoices are sent on a monthly basis and are charged in advance of your childcare provision.

Add Hock (Subject to each setting)

Add Hock sessions are suitable for working parents that work shift or irregular work patterns. These sessions allow you to book as and when you need childcare. Add hock sessions are subject to availability and require parents to log into the booking system each time you wish to book a session.

Can I do a combination of contract and Add Hock sessions?


Yes, many parents have a contract as this offers consistency and secures your child’s provision, but often book add hock sessions for additional days they need.

When will I receive my invoice if I have a contract?


Invoices are automatically sent on or around the 16th of each month.

When do I need to pay my invoice for my contract?


Payment needs to be made by the 26th of each month or at the latest before the 1st of the following month.

What happens if I am late paying my invoice?


If we have not received your payment into our account before the 1st of the month then we will apply late fee charges in line with our terms and conditions.

If I have a contract booking can I change one of my days or sessions as a one off?


Unfortunately, we are not able to change contract sessions, however you can book additional add hock sessions subject to availability.

Do I have to pay for add hock sessions at the time of booking?


Yes, all add hock sessions must be paid at the time of booking.

I use childcare vouchers to pay how will this work for add hock sessions?


If using childcare vouchers to pay for add hock sessions, then we require the payment within 7 days. If we have not received payment within this time frame, we will cancel any future sessions until payment has been made.

How far in advance can I book add hock sessions?


You can book on the same day up to a half term in advance. All sessions booked need to be paid for at the time of booking.

What happens if I no longer need a session I have booked?


Unfortunately, once you have booked a session, we would not be able to refund or credit the session.

Do you offer sibling discount?


Currently we do not offer sibling discounts.

Do you receive a discount the more sessions you book?


Yes! We appreciate that childcare is expensive and believe we offer a cost-effective solution for working parents.

If 5 full after school clubs are booked in the same week then you receive 10% discount.

My child attends a sports club after school, what happens after they have finished?


Many of our children attend sports clubs after school prior to coming to Active Care.

We collect any children once finished at the sports club and bring them to Active Care.

If my child attends a sports after-school club do I still need to pay for Active Care?


Yes, to secure your child’s place at active care then payment must still be made.

Do you run childcare during the School Holidays?


Yes! Holiday provision is provided by RB Sports Activities for children aged 4-12 years old. All our Holiday Camps are OFSTED registered which means you have the benefit of using childcare vouchers to pay for the provision.

Please note 4-year olds can only stay for half days during holiday camps.
